The second phase of a fit-out project at 1 Westferry Circus, London, was completed for the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Following a successful first phase, Lee Wakemans provided cost and project management services to further enhance the university’s presence in this key location.

Crownbridge Special Day School in Cwmbran, South Wales, was expanded with a £7 million investment from Torfaen County Borough Council. The project increased capacity for 50 students and 25 staff, incorporating new classrooms and independent living spaces, featuring a net zero carbon design and innovative drainage systems for a modern, inclusive learning environment.

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David completed a £6.3 million fit-out project at Westferry 1 Circus, Canary Wharf, in 2024. Lee Wakemans managed costs and the project from design to completion, enhancing the ground and first floors to facilitate the university’s campus expansion in London.

The £500k fit-out project at Salisbury House, Kennington Park, London, completed for the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, created additional teaching space. Delivered on time and within budget, this initiative enhances the university’s academic facilities in London under a JCT Minor Works Contract.

The Torfaen Learning Zone, a £27m educational development, was completed for Torfaen County Borough Council under the Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools Programme. Lee Wakemans managed cost, tendering, and contracts for a new sixth form college on a former factory site, which earned a nomination for a Constructing Excellence in Wales Award.

The Swansea Waterfront Innovation Quarter is a £25.27 million educational development for the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Managed by Lee Wakemans as construction consultants, the project involves a new academic facility with FLEXI and TECH accommodation, overseeing the tender process, contract negotiations, and post-contract works.

Dolau Primary School in Llanharan, Wales, is a £2.7 million educational facility developed for Rhondda Cynon Taf Borough Council. The project features a single-storey building with eight classrooms and an assembly hall, as well as a commercial kitchen, staff areas, and outdoor play zones, enhancing the teaching environment.

The Central Library in Swansea, Wales, underwent a £9.69 million redevelopment for the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Lee Wakemans replaced the previous project management consultants, overseeing the transformation of the library into the Institute for Sustainable Design. Their review ensured successful project completion and handover.

Ynysowen Community Primary School, located in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, is a £4.8m education project completed for the Merthyr Tydfil Borough Council. The school features low-carbon technologies and achieved BREEAM Excellent certification, promoting sustainability while enhancing the local community within a former colliery’s regeneration scheme.
