On 16 February 2024, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Alliance Medical launched a £2m digital PET-CT centre at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, boosting daily scans, reducing waiting times, and enhancing cancer detection through advanced imaging technology for patients across the East of England.

Planning Approval Granted for Mental Health Treatment Centre in South Wales

A new 73-bed Specialist Inpatient Services Unit at Grange University Hospital in Cwmbran has received planning approval. Lee Wakemans is providing cost management services for the mental health facility, which will centralise regional services and deliver modern, patient-focused care in a sustainable, net zero carbon building.

Practical Completion Achieved for Integrated Diagnostic Centre in South Tyneside

Lee Wakemans supported Imaging Matters in securing planning permission for a new Community Diagnostic Centre at Wembley Centre for Health for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The facility will include MRI and CT scanners and aims to improve diagnostic services, with project completion expected by the end of 2023.
