Staybridge Suites Hotel, Cardiff Bay is a £10m hotel development delivered between May 2018 and August 2021 for First Inn Ventures under the InterContinental Hotels Group brand.
Lee Wakemans acted as Employer’s Agent and cost manager for the scheme, delivered under the JCT Design and Build 2016 contract, which transformed and extended the existing Holiday Inn Express to create Cardiff’s first apart-hotel, providing 73 long-stay suites, a roof terrace and supporting guest facilities.
