Lee Wakemans was pleased to host its Taster Event on 4 June, bringing together clients, partners, colleagues and friends of the business for an evening of conversation, networking and excellent food.
The event was hosted by Charlotte Evans, Business Development Executive at Lee Wakemans, and attended by Lee Wakemans Directors Paul Wong and Mike Hughes, alongside Richard Kingston, IQA, Contacts Manager and Business Development, and a wide range of guests from across the construction, property and professional services sectors.
The evening provided an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, create new connections and bring people together in a relaxed and welcoming environment. As a business, Lee Wakemans values the importance of maintaining strong professional relationships, not only through project delivery, but also through meaningful engagement with the wider industry.
A key part of the evening was the food offering, with guests enjoying dishes and produce from two highly regarded Welsh food businesses. Joe Granville of The Rogue Welsh Cake Company provided award-winning Welsh cakes, including the company’s Great Taste Award-winning bara brith Welsh cakes, while Anand George of Anand George’s Indian Kitchen brought the distinctive flavours associated with his acclaimed Purple Poppadom restaurant.
The combination of great food, good conversation and a strong mix of guests created a positive atmosphere throughout the evening. The event reflected Lee Wakemans’ continued commitment to supporting relationships across the industry and providing opportunities for clients, consultants and partners to connect outside of the usual project environment.
