Lee Wakemans is pleased to share the latest progress on the Wembley Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), where the ground floor extension to accommodate two new MRI scanners has now been successfully installed — completed in a single afternoon, despite challenging site conditions.
This milestone marks a significant step forward for a project that will bring greater diagnostic capacity to the local community, supporting faster access to essential imaging services.
A Collaborative Effort
The successful installation reflects the strength of collaboration across the full project team, including Imaging Matters, Medular Ltd, DLH Lifting Services Ltd, KRM Joinery, Lymers Assist Ltd, and Europe Building Services.
Lee Wakemans continues to provide Project Management and Quantity Surveying services on this scheme, with Dave Curzon (Senior Project Manager) and Chris Wright (Senior Quantity Surveyor) supporting delivery on behalf of Leigh Melville and Nick Carter at Imaging Matters.
Supporting Community Diagnostic Centres
Community Diagnostic Centres continue to have a meaningful impact on local communities, bringing vital diagnostic services closer to home and helping to reduce waiting times for patients. Lee Wakemans is proud to support projects of this nature, working alongside experienced, senior-led teams to ensure schemes like this are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
We look forward to sharing further updates as the Wembley CDC project progresses.
