Lee Wakemans provided contract administration and cost management services on works to upgrade the road infrastructure servicing Redrow’s landmark Plas Dwr development. The overall development brings around 7,000 new homes to Cardiff, as well as shops, offices, schools, health centres, leisure centres, pubs and restaurants.
The Section 278 Works involved the widening of several carriageways and footpaths, provisions of new bicycle lanes, installation of new services, and the creation of pedestrian and signalised junctions. The project was undertaken through an NEC3 Option A contract, and was completed in 2020.
