Biomass CHP Plant, Girvan, Scotland is an £18m renewable energy facility delivered for Land Energy Ltd.
The plant was designed to receive locally sourced timber, which was debarked, dried and processed into pellets to fuel a 2.3-megawatt biomass boiler. This enabled the generation of electricity for export to the national grid, supporting a sustainable energy solution based on local biomass resources.
