WE WELCOME 'NETWORK 75' TRAINEE

3rd Oct 2017

We have committed to a 5-year programme with the University of South Wales' Network 75 scheme, which partners Undergraduates with local companies.

!8 year old Andrew Williams has joined us as a trainee quantity surveyor and will be working with us alongside completing his BSc degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.

The Network 75 initiative allows undergraduates to apply their academic knowledge to real-life work within a host company.

Mike Hughes, Director at Lee Wakemans, said, "Andrew has only been with us for a few weeks, but he has already made a positive impact on the company. The combined work and study route is something we really believe in, and has allowed us to bring a high quality undergraduate like Andrew into our workplace. Andrew will be able to develop practical skills working with us alongside his academic studies."

Andrew Williams said, "I'm really excited to be working at Lee Wakemans. I will be on placement for three days a week and will go to University for two days. It is great to think that in five years' time, I will have finished my degree, and will have lots of valuable work experience, without incurring any debt."

Andrew will be working in the Cost Management Department, reporting to our Senior Cost Consultant Chris Wright and Director Mike Hughes.
