New 'Cost Manager' Joins Our Expanding Team

We have appointed a new cost manager to our growing team. Alex Pierce brings experience in working on social and domestic housing projects as well as on major healthcare developments including numerous projects at Singleton Hospital, Morriston Hospital, The Royal Gwent and The University Hospital of Wales.

Alex will work with the Cost Management department to help clients understand their projects' costs from inception through to building completion.

On his appointment, Alex, who lives in North Cardiff said,

"I'm proud and excited to be a part of the Lee Wakemans team. The work ethos and passion to deliver a quality tailored service to suit each of their clients is clear from my few months of working here. I think the drive to bring new work into the business whilst keeping a good working and social relationship with their existing clients is also great to see. The team have welcomed me in and I am looking forward to the future here."

Alex joins us following three years at Global Property and Construction Consultants, Gleeds. Prior to that, he worked at Quantity Surveyors and Project Management Company, RPA.

Director at Lee Wakemans, Mike Hughes, who leads the Cost Management department said, "Alex has already made a great impression on us here at Lee Wakemans, and we are pleased to welcome him into the company. Alex's appointment is in response to our recent business growth in the healthcare and education sectors, and he is already proving to be a valued member of the team."

In his spare time, Alex is a keen motocross enthusiast, who has ridden competitively for a number of years, after being introduced to the sport at the age of fourteen.
